Planet 10 Frames – Great for Distance Learning

So many teachers have been thrown into virtual learning. I’ve been a busy bee over here creating! My own children have been very intrigued by space lately so I have created some fun activities that can be used for distance learning, math stations, or as assessments. This particular activity is called “Planet Ten Frames.”

How Can This Planet Activity Be Used?

  • Assessment– Create an assignment for your students and have them complete it. This will give you a good feel for their number sense!
  • Math Station– Use this activity for your students to practice their base 10 counting skills.
  • Practice– Assign this activity to those who need extra practice.
  • Differentiation- Assign different slides based on ability. Numbers represented in this file are teens to 90’s!
  • Distance Learning– Have your virtual learners complete this assignment!
