In the last few weeks, many parents have been thrown into homeschooling. Many didn’t expect this and in addition to learning how to work from home, dealing with unemployment, or working endless hours as an “essential” worker, adding teaching has really made life stressful!
I am a kindergarten teacher. Here I am teaching from home, caring for my 2 young boys, and teaching kindergarten to my daughter. I would 1000% rather be at school with my students because this is HARD!!
My kindergarten daughter needs about 10-15 pages of work printed a week from her online curriculums. Thankfully I have an amazing solution for printing at home! Have you heard of HP instant ink? This is a subscription ink service that sends you more ink whenever you get low! The best part about this is that it is super affordable and there are several options to meet the needs of EVERYONE!
Plans
There are several plans to choose from:
-$2.99 for 50 pages a month
-$4.99 for 100 pages a month
-$9.99 for 300 pages a month
-$14.99 for 500 pages a month
-$19.99 for 700 pages a month
Surely there is something for you!
Let me do a bit of math for you. After some research I found that you can buy ink for approximately $40-$60 for 2 ink cartridges. Each cartridge will get you between 150-190 pages of printing. If you were to print 300-380 pages, you would spend $40-$60. If you were to use HP instant ink, you would spend between $9.99-$14.99 for those same pages!
Printer
If you have an older printer, you may need to invest in a HP instant ink compatible printer. This is definitely a con but with the amount you will save on ink, you will quickly recoup the cost!
Many HP printers will come with a few months of FREE instant ink. Here is my link which will get you a free month as well (and me too!).
I hope that if you have been thrown into this role that you are making the best of it! It is tough (even as a seasoned teacher). Hang in there mama! You’ve got this!
