Hello! As a kindergarten teacher I know that school readiness is a super important skill. The more prepared your child is for school, the better! If you want to read more about kindergarten readiness, check out this POST!
Now, for the FREEBIES!
I have created several freebies for this post that you can get simply by clicking the pictures below. These activities all can be used to help support learners and guide them towards school readiness. They can also be used to as practice or intervention for teachers! Use them how you wish! I want to help as many kids, parents, and teachers as I can!!
Read this if you want to learn about printing at home for next to nothing!!!
Fall Tracing Freebie
Print and laminate these shape cards and then use a dry erase marker to trace the shapes! Easy peasy. You can also slip these into a dry erase sleeve or a page protector and use a dry erase marker!
Counting Freebie
These mats can be used in a few ways! My favorite is to use dollar store pom-poms as counters. Have your kiddo read the number (or you read the number to them) and place that many counters on the board! If you look at these closely there is also a play-dough portion at the top. Use this as a multi-sensory approach and have your child make the number out of play-dough and then make play-dough balls to fill up the ten-frame!
Fall Number Tracing Freebie
Print these, laminate if you wish, cut them, and you are ready to go! Kids can count the fall items and trace over the number. This is great for writing practice as well as counting and number recognition!!
Clip Card Counting Freebie
This is a great activity for fine motor practice. Cut out and count the items. Then, have your child CLIP the number that corresponds with the picture. I like to add a star or sticker on the back so that the kids can check their answer!
